Tyneside Cinema is the North East’s leading specialised cinema and digital arts venue and is located in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. It opened its doors in 1937 and is the last surviving news theatre still operating as a cinema today.

Come along to the Tyneside Cinema Bar Café for a silent disco where you can dance to remixed versions of your favourite film soundtracks and scores. Between tracks, try out the 35mm station to cut and splice your own mini filmstrip scene to take home at the end of the night.
