D6: Culture in Transit works with extraordinary artists, communities and partners to produce visual arts projects locally and internationally. Through artistic exchange, residencies at its studio in central Newcastle and commissions, it explores social and environmental issues that concern and connect us all.

D6 will be opening the doors of their city-centre studios to visitors to see the work of artists who have challenged, inspired and brought joyous moments to D6 this year. The artists in residence, have joined with the D6 to research ideas and create new work that reveals and questions the beauty and complexities of the world we live in.
