Station East

Station East is a pub located under the Gateshead railway arches. Part of the Railway Quarter, it has made a name for itself as one of the best cultural venues on the south banks of the Tyne with regular events in music (from folk to contemporary), crafts, poetry, and fayres.

A pop- up open mic night hosted by performer and spoken word artist Mwelwa Chilekwa. Whether you're a seasoned performer or simply want to try something new, this open mic welcomes poetry, comedy, and music.

This wonderfully historic venue was the first pub opened by Hadrian Border Brewery.
