High Bridge Works - Home to pioneering artists, inventors & entrepreneurs since 1767. Newcastle Contemporary Art (NCA) is a creative programme of exhibitions and events curated and managed by High Bridge CIC. Established in 2021, NCA is centred around a hub of studios for artists and creative businesses. Through the operation of the venue’s fourth floor gallery they aim to engage with members of their immediate and wider community through exhibitions and events and advocate openness and inclusion with the aim of tackling inequalities in the region.

NCA will host a performance by Turner Prize nominee Delaine Le Bas. This will give visitors a sneak preview of her exhibition, which will open in the gallery later in the year.
High Bridge Works Open Studios (6-9 pm)
Artists, designers, and makers will open their studios to visitors at High Bridge Works.
