Drop into Baltic Saturday for a late-night viewing of the recently opened Spring Season exhibitions and an Open Mic evening.

Hartlepool-born artists Laura Lancaster & Rachel Lancaster’s expansive show displays their evocative paintings side by side for the first time, whilst Ali Cherri: How I Am Monument (★★★★★ The Guardian) explores the tension between creation and destruction, permanence, and fragility in regions of conflict. Tom Houlton, a Lecturer in Film and Literature, University of York, will provides insight and lead a casual discussion on Cherri’s Toppled Monument sculpture series in the gallery.
