Newcastle Contemporary Art (NCA) are hosting X, an exhibition of Contemporary British Painting (CBP) members work to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the artist-led organisation alongside that of very special invited guest artists. It will run the gamut of painterly styles and genres, and challenge perceptions of what painting can be. There will also be DJ sets by Bishop (founder of Opal Tapes), and Paul Smith (Maxïmo Park).
Open Studios

Artists, designers and makers will be opening up their studios to visitors at High Bridge Works.
