The oldest and largest studio group in the North East. 36 Lime Street studios are situated in the heart of Newcastle’s Ouseburn Valley to the east of the city centre. Formerly a flax mill, the building is now home to over 50 artists, makers and designers across five floors.

Visit the oldest artist studio building in Newcastle. This is a unique chance to glimpse into the working world of artists and designer-makers, who offer a huge variety of affordable and original work to buy. From paintings to ceramics, sculpture to jewellery, furniture to prints and much more. Visitors can look forward to checking out a range of arts and crafts, chatting to the artists and enjoying live music performances.

Film Premiere: The Ouseburn Warehouse & Studios Film Project:

Join Newcastle University students Nada Ibrahim & Jasmine Stephenson at the launch of their short film, behind the scenes at 36 Lime Street. Screened throughout the evening, both creatives will take part in a Q&A at the launch between 18.00 – 19.00.
