Pop along to The NewBridge Project to see new work and works-in progress by members of The Collective Studio, Embassy’s GRAD JOB programme, and Newcastle University’s first year Fine Art students.

Over the past two days they have been making experimental new art works and sharing ideas and learning. New works will be presented across multiple artistic disciplines and at various stages of completion, across both Carliol House (Newcastle) and NewBridge Gateshead.

Playground: Escape into the exciting chaos of a dynamic group of fresh artists. Immerse yourself into a lively and adventurous space, beyond the everyday. This experimental exhibition showcases the diverse body of work produced by all first year Fine Art students at Newcastle University. Their studios have become a playground for their emerging art practice which they will use to transform Carliol House. Displaying work across a range of mediums, approaches and disciplines this eclectic collection of artworks will draw your eyes in every direction.
