The oldest purpose built Masonic Hall in Northumberland. Freemasonry is a unique membership organisation that has thrived for over 300 years. With no political or religious affiliations, we comprise members of all ages, races, religions, cultures, and backgrounds. We meet in our individual Lodges throughout the country where we have ceremonial traditions.

The Lodge Room with its impressive stained glass and ornate furniture is original and dates from 1870. Discover this unique and atmospheric building and the work of the masons in a friendly guided tour by Freemasons dressed in regalia.
