Hatton Gallery
Newcastle University's Hatton Gallery has been at the heart of cultural life in the North East since the early 20th century. The Hatton stages a programme of modern and contemporary art exhibitions and events including artist and curator talks and family activities. We work closely with students from Newcastle University and exhibit their work on an annual basis.

5-7pm, Twi-Lates - A hands-on animation workshop led by NewcastleGateshead’s leading indie animation company, AnimateCity.
7-11pm - Last chance to see the Francis Bacon/Ellen Gallagher exhibition as well as marvellous artworks from the gallery's collection.
Come and get involved in an evening of live music, dance and creative activities inspired by the Hatton’s exhibitions.
Kids: Why not paint your parents (face paints available!).
