Bensham Grove Community Centre (2019 details)
Bensham Grove is a beautiful and very busy, Grade ll listed voluntary Community Arts Centre in the heart of Gateshead. It is accessible and open to everyone. The house was gifted in 1919 by the Spence Watson family and is a great example of an ‘Arts and Crafts’ building.

It's one hundred years since the main house was left by the Spence Watson family to the people of Gateshead. In celebration of the centenary, there will be lots of 100 years themed activities including some in glass, ceramics, pewter work and sculpture. There will also be live music and guided tours of the beautiful Grade II listed building All materials supplied. Refreshments available.
