The Biscuit Factory is the UK’s largest independent contemporary art, craft & design gallery set in the heart of Newcastle’s cultural quarter. Housed in a former Victorian warehouse, our beautiful gallery spaces are set over two floors, displaying a range of contemporary fine art, sculpture, original prints and jewellery, quality craftsmanship and design led homewares from over 200 artists every season.

2. Event at The Biscuit Factory

Providing a platform for emerging artists and budding performers, join The Biscuit Factory in the gallery and place a vote for your winner, as they launch their Open Contemporary Young Artist Award; a mixed media exhibition featuring the exciting work of more than 20 artists; and support the brilliant work of award-winning charity Streetwise Opera who will be showcasing songs from their latest production at 8.15 and 9pm on the night.
