Tyneside Cinema is the North East’s leading specialised cinema and digital arts venue and is located in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. It opened its doors in 1937 and is the last surviving news theatre still operating as a cinema today.

Saga is a showcase of the varying works of 64 first year students practising Fine Art at Newcastle University.
This open exhibition shines light upon the journeys of these new practitioners as they begin to refine their work and take shape as artists.
