Climb 164 steps of the iconic Grey’s Monument for spectacular evening views of Newcastle’s Grainger Town and beyond. Tours will be delivered by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Newcastle City Guide, who will give an insight into the Monument’s history, the man who inspired it and the surrounding landmarks. Tours take place on Saturday 14 May in half-hour slots between 6pm – 9pm. Please note that children under 5 years are strictly not admitted. There are 164 steps to climb and at some points the staircase is narrow. Only 8 people can climb to the top at one time so book early to avoid disappointment.
