Sample the breath-taking view of Newcastle and Gateshead at night from atop the iconic Lantern Tower on one of our tower tours (at 7.15pm, 8.15pm and 9.15pm). Explore the Cathedral and the variety of interactive exhibitions and prayer stations by candlelight. At 10pm the ancient night service of Compline www.thelateshows.org.uk will be sung by the Cathedral Choir as part of Sacred Space – Night Church at St Nicholas Cathedral. We also welcome Fat Hippo to Cathedral Square - expect messy fingers and juicy burgers. Booking is essential for tower tours (0191) 232 1939. Participants must be physically fit and over 8 years old.
