Sanctuary Artspace and the CoMusica Arches present ‘Behind the Mask’, looking at the story behind the Newcastle rave scene’s most iconic band, Altern8. See an exhibition of rave memorabilia and mask-themed paintings encapsulating the innocence of the early scene. Don’t miss an exclusive performance by Altern8 themselves, too. For families, we recommend coming down from 6 – 7.30pm; we’ll have live art demos and a chance to customise your own rave mask!
