‘Weeping Woman’, currently on display at the Laing, is one of a series of works painted by Picasso in response to the Guernica bombings. See our recreation of ‘Weeping Woman’ take shape in the Marble Hall and construct a fragmented reflection of your chosen work in the galleries. There is also an opportunity to view the original ‘Weeping Woman’ after hours in our unmissable exhibition ‘Conscience and Conflict: British Artists and the Spanish Civil War’. Admission charge applies to exhibition; other activities are free.
