Bensham Grove Community Centre (2015 details)

Bensham Grove is a beautiful and very busy, Grade ll listed voluntary Community Arts Centre in the heart of Gateshead. It is accessible and open to everyone. The house was gifted in 1919 by the Spence Watson family and is a great example of an ‘Arts and Crafts’ building.

Join us for two hands-on workshops and the chance to look around this recently restored Grade ll listed building which facebook.com/thelateshows @thelateshows #thelateshows boasts beautiful stained glass, ceramics, metal work and embroideries. Some of our tutors will be on hand to give visitors a chance to etch their own small piece of Heritage glass. Jewellery making is also a very popular course in Bensham Grove’s portfolio - why not come along and make a unique and stylish friendship bracelet?

FRESH North East is an artist led initiative providing opportunities for dance artists to present short works in an informal studio setting.
