Bensham Grove Community Centre
Bensham Grove has provided the community with Adult Education opportunities since the 1920s. The Centre is an English Heritage Grade 2-listed building bequeathed by Elizabeth Spence Watson in 919 Elizabeth Spence Watson. In 1948, the former Spence Watson house was handed over to Gateshead Council as a venue for Adult Education.

Some of our tutors will be on hand to give visitors a chance to etch their own small piece of Heritage glass. FRESH North East presents a double-bill of brand new dance works curated especially for The Late Shows. FRESH North East is an artist led initiative providing opportunities for dance artists to present short works in an informal studio setting.
