The oldest and largest studio group in the North East. 36 Lime Street studios are situated in the heart of Newcastle’s Ouseburn Valley to the east of the city centre. Formerly a flax mill, the building is now home to over 50 artists, makers and designers across five floors.

Comfy chairs, tables and lamps. Teapots and T-Shirts. Prints, paintings, drawings, glass, tableware, jewellery and lots more. Step through our front door and experience ‘IDEA’, a very special room created by those lovely people at 36 Lime Street. Many of the super pieces - made by our resident artists and makers - will be for sale. Come and pay a visit and be inspired to imagine what you would commission for your own room.
